ELDERS
Parkway is an elder-led and congregationally-governed church. Under Christ’s authority, the elders are recognized by the congregation to lead, feed, protect, and care for the church. No single elder leads the church; instead, the elder team collectively bears the responsibility for the oversight and direction of the church. This group of biblically qualified men works to set the vision and lead the church to embrace and fulfill it. In addition, these men function as leaders for the congregation by setting an example of a Christ-like life and modeling complete surrender to Him.

DEACONS
We are served by a group of biblically-qualified men who lead in caring for the practical needs of our congregation. Describing their specific functions and responsibilities is difficult because they are often reactive and fluid, but they focus on tangible needs so the elders are free to teach the word and shepherd our members.
